Long Winters Night
Hey there everyone I know it has been a really long ass time since anything has been posted on here or I have actively participated on your journals or groups. I am sorry especially to BWM and S2P that I had lost contact with everyone.
Life has sucked major balls over the last year. In March I had a second stress induced heart failure and kidney failure and with that memory gaps, one of which included the password to this account. But that still is not an excuse. I did enjoy going back threw everyones archives both three months ago and just now. I am catching up on certain parts of my life that I had let fall by the way side unintentionally and hopefully once I give everyone the correct information, (which I thought I had a year and a half ago but apparently it didnt post so what do I know) those who wish to resume contact and friendship will do so. And for those whom choose not to I will greatly miss what once was and I wish you the best in your adventure of life. Thank you for letting me share the journeys.

Seasons Blessings and Bear Hugs,

+Kenneth

BECAUSE LIFE IS BACKWARDS
This Is Something Brock Would Have Thought Up, And As PRIDE Approaches I Thought It Only Fitting To Defend His Mantra Of Life... And Our Youth And Young Adults Rally Cry In His Honour....
===================================

I think the life cycle is all backwards. You should start out dead and get it out of the way.

Then, you wake up in an old age home feeling better every day.You get kicked out for being too healthy; go collect your pension, then when you start work, you get a gold watch on your first day.

You work 40 years until you're young enough to enjoy your retirement.You drink alcohol, you party, you're generally promiscuous (although you should still use condoms) and you get ready for High School.

You go to primary school, you become a kid , you play, you have noresponsibilities, you become a baby, and then...

You spend your last 9 months floating peacefully in luxury, in spa-like conditions; central heating, room service on tap, larger quarters every day, and then, you finish off as an orgasm.

Aside from the issue of still ending up in diapers on either side of the spectrum still, I rest my case.

====================================

There is still alot of tension in the community regarding the events surrounding Brocks passing over into eternal life. I dont have the answers to the questions that people are asking regarding those events. I do know however that somehow someway there is no doubt in my heart that He knows he is loved (not was loved, is loved and always will be)! His passing over to eternal life will never be completely understood and so we must look at what we do have knowledge of and pray that wisdom will fill in the rest of the blanks as we move forward in his memory and our hearts agony.

I do not appreciate either the misinformation being spread around and assummed as truth when no one is even 75 percent aware of the details surrounding his tragic death. Let him be in peace! The truth will show itself forth when the time is right, the questions will be answered in the proper seasons.

We must first let his flower fade fully and then completely bring forth that new life and understanding that are the desires of our heart to share with others the beauty of Brocks loving memories in us all.

Blessings Along The Journey,
Fr. Fozy Bear

Hey Everybody

That is still on my friends list anyway. I do apaologize for not having been around much please do know that I have kept you all in my thoughts and prayers. I also thank you for them in return and know that I am both humbled and greatful for having great friends through this forum.

Mark, yes I mean boiwonder, did you get my email for your Birthday?

and now for a parting bite of humor

After hearing about several people getting pulled over for running yellow lights, then being the front-seat passenger when it happened to a friend of mine, I went out and observed what the police are up to. Basically, they are pulling people over assembly-line fashion; as soon as the officer in the squad car gets back in position, they pull over the last person to go through the next light, regardless of whether or not they actually ran it on red. About 75-80% of the people they're pulling over did not run red lights. They're doing this at the intersections of Coliseum and Coldwater and Coliseum and Lima.

So be careful if you have to go through these intersections! Do not be the last person through a yellow light, or you're liable to get pulled over and get a $200 ticket. They seem to be running this racket from about 11 AM to 6 PM on weekdays only. I guess they're not concerned about traffic safety on weekends.

Also...

donut emergency!!

Things To Shock Your System At 4:20 In The Morning...

Im not talking about pot either....

Yesterday morning as I was making a pit stop for some smokes at one of the many gas stations I frequent throughout town on late night rounds I walk up and purchased my second pack for the day... people bum a lot...

I am standing around trading religious political and sexual barbs with the attendant and his friend as we usually do. When the attendant makes a casual comment about the 'new' movie that they got in to sell at $9.99. Both me and his friend at the same time respond , "You got bareback mountain in here?!" and we then looked at each other realizing we had both outed ourselves to each other, and the attendant at this point is on the floor laughing hysterically and having an athsma attack. Do we care?

No! Both of us start heading for the strategically placed impulse purchase movie rack in shock as we casually introduce ourselves and start drueling over the possibilities of it being the Directors Cut or not. After five minutes we find the movie because it was placed at a childs level in the open view and main pathway. We check back with a glance to see if the attendant is okay and find him sprawled across the counter attempting to catch his breath.

"What is the moral of the story?" you ask. No matter how much they bitch wine and moan about the immorality of whatever Fundementalist forget one thing every time...If God Is Love Then Love Is The Force Of Nature!

Even now six months later we are seeing absolute love between two men being expressed in public view and no one is having a coniption fit for their kids seeing absolute love explored and celebrated.

The next time they go on a rant or a bitch fest point out the copy of bareback mountain available for $4.49 at your local convience store and gas station. Can you invision the possibilities?

AN UPDATE TO ALL OF MY KIDS AND FRIENDS AND CHILDREN
Concerning Father Fozy,
from Deacon-elect Ambrose Augustine

My brothers and sisters, greetings to you all.

I am sending this message on behalf of our Most Rev. Father Jude~Thaddeuss of Prompt~Succor because he is currently unable to do so.

After leaving my house at about 4am this morning, after much urging from myself, his Holy Guardian Angel (Jules), and the Holy Spirit of God (or "Spook" as he would say), our beloved Father Fozy checked himself into St. Joe Hospital. The swelling in his legs has been progressively getting worse and the persistent pain in his side after his perceived anxiety attack has not gone away.

I found out a few hours ago that he has apparantly been suffering from conjestive heart failure. He has informed me that the doctors have said they don't think he's going to need surgery, but needless to say, he has asked that we all keep him in our prayers over the next few weeks to follow, particularly the next 3 or 4 days when they will be needed the most. He said he is feeling a bit better, though he hasn't been allowed to smoke. He thus has a migrane. He says they have given him a nicotine patch, but "it's just not the same!" Good ol' Father Fozy, even filled with joy and humor during the most troubling times. I expect, though, that this means he will be cutting back on that chimney smoking!

I will attempt to post updates here as I receive them, and let you all know when he is prepared to start receiving visitors. Thank you all for your prayers and support. If you need to reach me directly, I may be emailed at: animusdecrucio@gmail.com

Peace and compassion to you all, always.
-Deacon-elect Augustine
aka Curt

===================================================

I WOULD LIKE TO THANK DEACON ELECT AUGUSTINE FOR FORWARDING THE LAST MESSAGE IN MY STEED. AND YES, THIS IS A VALIDATION THAT CURT IS GOING TO BE A DEACON NOT JUST FOR MY APOSTOLIC SERVICE AREA BUT ALSO WITH THE ORTHODOX CATHOLIC CHURCH OF AMERICA. SEND HIM YOUR CONGRADULATIONS TO animusdecrucio@gmail.com.

an explaination

WHAT I HAD WAS A COMBINATION, STRESS INDUCED, CONJESTIVE HEART FALIURE AND RENAL (KIDNEYS) FALIURE. THEY ARE NOT SURE WHAT CAME FIRST OR IF THEY BOTH HAPPENNED IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE OTHER. THEY LET ME GO EARLY, AS MY BLOOD PRESSURE HAS SOMEWHAT RETURNED TO NORMAL, I AM NOT 100 PERCENT YET AND DONT EXPECT TO BE FOR AWHILE. BUT I AM HOME AND RESTING (EXCEPT FOR RIGHT NOW).

a personal thank you

WITH ALL THE LOVE AND PRAYERS THROWN AROUND YESTERDAY AND TODAY, IT DID APPARRENTLY GOOD THINGS, QUICKLY AND I DID FEEL THE EFFECTS OF YOUR PRAYERS AND POSITIVE THOUGHTS AND ATTEMPTS TO SEE ME AFTER VISITING HOURS *wink.

I DO LOVE YOU ALL VERY MUCH AND THANK GOD FOR YOU EACH AND EVERY DAY. IT IS FOR YOU THAT I HAVE THE PRIVILAGE OF LIVING AND MOVING AND AM HONOURED TO BE A PRESENCE IN EACH OF YOUR LIVES AND LONGINGS OF THE HEART.

Y'ALL TRULY DO KEEP ME YOUNG! KEEP IT COMING I NEED TO DE AGE BY TEN MORE YEARS; BUT REMEMBER TO DO IT SLOWLY, MY INNER BAPTIST BLACK WOMAN DON'T SASH~SHAY LIKE SHE USED TO!

Our Lady Rejoice Update June 2006 Part One: Because One Life Can Change The World

a glance over of the next issue of The Reign And Rook
WELCOME TO THE ADVENTURE

BECAUSE ONE LIFE CAN CHANGE THE WORLD!

Shortly after our first issue debuted in April, we lost a very beautiful person in the lives of the many youth and young adults that Our Lady Rejoice Ministries serves and struggles along side every day. The outpouring of grief and love has made a change for the plans of our second issue necessary.

For some this was their first time experiencing death and dying in someone of their own age let alone the affection for a person whose life crossing over into eternity was in an untimely and drastic manor. A lot of them are still having issues with saying,'goodbye.', I know I am. His life was a challenge and challenge life to the fullest, he definitely did. He was always able to bring a smile to your face because he wanted you to reflect the light a little more. The light within you, the light within others he wanted to witness that light and make sure everyone else did as well. Sacred Scriptures cite, "And this is the verdict, that the light came into the world, but people preferred darkness to light, because their works were evil. For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come toward the light, so that his works might not be exposed. But whoever lives the truth comes to the light, so that his works may be clearly seen as done in God. (Gospel of St. John the Beloved 3:19~21)"

So how is his light reflected now that he is gone? The last question is one we have heard several times; and the response of, 'we dont know yet completely.' does not seem to suffice, nor should it. The ripple effect has already begun and proves once again the powers of one life lived in light and love to change the world as they know it for the better. Those who knew him have forever been changed. Be prepared, for this one life is going to challenge all the status quotas in life and society. Our youth and young adults are the ones doing the challenging and they are not pulling punches. They have received a rally cry and they use it well. That rally cry broke out several times and brought to head some other issues in the Community. Some of our young people had enough of old politics and drama and have begun a new Youth and Young Adult Group in his honor and memory (view calendar). This list will continue on, it is an ongoing process of 'us, our surroundings, and those who claim to serve our needs.'

By our count thus far:
12 new long term, same sex relationships have begun,
and 15 friendships restored or healed;
4 brothers and 2 stepbrothers have been adopted by 1300
and a Community that supported them in time of loss;
Within a matter of 5 days stereotypes were challenged
forever in farm country and urban areas alike;
1 police officer came out of the closet and
there was a 3 1/2 mile PRIDE parade on US 6;
3 young adults went up before Memorial Day Weekend
to clean and plant flowers for the family unannounced;
5 people either lost their jobs or were almost expelled
from school for bereavement and family medical leave, etc;

I am sitting at St. Tarsicius Chapel, before our Lord Joshua~Emmanuel of Nazareth, in the Eucharist, writing this and wondering what else to share about this beautiful person, who has gone to shine the light, from a different vantage point, to us. With open arms and a heart filled by this trust and hope, I offer the prayer, that we may follow the examples of our young people and walk these roads of life together in brotherly love and HIS peace, of which our dear friend is now aware and reminds us daily, to look at life from both sides of the dash.

Blessings Along The Journey With Our Lord And Lady,

Fr. Fozy Bear

THE FODDER TROUGH
(feedback from our readers of THE REIGN AND ROOK and
interested third parties as well as an ocassional bitch fest)

Why isnt my community of faith listed as open and affirming, etc.?
Certain parishes or groups have not made that declaration of being o&a or welcoming or reconciling in regards to GLBTIQAS persons. It has been assumed all to often that a community is because of the reception by or opinion of one or two persons when in actuality the congregation does not allow active glbt membersship. Then there are others whom do not wishto limit their stance and policies by stating that it is or is not. OLRM will not state without due cause which ones to refrain from attending, but we will not list those whom have not made a general invitation for glbtiqas persons to attend without being harmed. The ones where a dual track record exists will be avoided until as such a time proves a change in the pastoral care and character of the community in question.

    Hey everyone you will never guess what I just saw...
    Im over at St. Dorothy Day's Refuge and the campus mascot just got picked up out of the window and tossed across the room just by a simple breeze. Twenty miles per hour but still gentle.

    There is a passage in Isaiah 40 that we use in the 2nd week of Advent:

    NRRTR: Then the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all mankind shall see it together; for the mouth of the LORD has spoken.

    GOD: A voice says, "Cry out!"

    Isaiah: I answer, "What shall I cry out?"

    GOD: "All mankind is grass, and all their glory like the flower of the field. The grass withers, the flower wilts, when the breath of the LORD blows upon it. *Ooh! blow on them, blow on me!*

    Isaiah inserts himself into the middle of 'the voice':
    So then, the people is the grass.
    *(Which really means)Ha! I'm the flower, bitch!*

    GOD continues:"Though the grass withers and the flower wilts, the word of our God stands forever." *Except when he eats and sleeps and hung across a tree*

    *Still trying to figure out if this next part is the
    Narrator or God going on unintelligible tangents*

    God or a Pentecostal Preacher taking it out of context:

    Go up onto a high mountain, Zion, herald of glad tidings;
    Cry out at the top of your voice, Jerusalem, herald of good news!

    Fear not to cry out and say to the cities of Judah: Here is your God!
    Here comes with power the Lord GOD, who rules by his strong arm;
    Here is his reward with him, his recompense before him.

    *The congregation of my mental cartoon breaks out into that one hymn*:
    Like a shepherd he feeds his flock; in his arms he gathers the lambs,
    Carrying them in his bosom, and leading the ewes with care.

    Okay, Im calling it quits before my mental cartoon explodes in orgasm with where I could take other portions of this text.

    Bleessings!
